Welcome to Paint by Rhi ("I," "me," or "my"). By browsing this website, reaching out for a custom commission, or inquiring about artwork and handmade goods, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following studio terms. Please read them carefully.

Intellectual property & copyright notice

All artwork, original stencil designs, paintings, photographs, product imagery, and written content displayed on this website are the absolute property of Paint by Rhi and are protected under United States and international copyright laws.

No unauthorized use: You may not download, screenshot, reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or use any images or content from this site for commercial or personal gain without prior written permission from me. This includes creating art prints, digital reproductions, or derivative works from any designs shown here.
Sharing content: You are always welcome to share links to this website or my studio social media posts, provided that full credit is given to Paint by Rhi and a direct link back to the original source is included.
Transfer of ownership: Purchasing an original painting, canvas panel, or handmade item transfers ownership of the physical object only. It does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

Service & order boundaries

This website is an informational art portfolio and studio directory; it does not process automated retail checkout transactions or collect financial data.

Direct inquiries only: All requests to purchase any available items or services listed on this site are handled exclusively via direct email or contact form communication.
Shipping limitations: Physical shipping is strictly restricted to addresses within the United States. Free local pickup within the Central Jersey area is highly encouraged, with pickup times arranged directly over email.

Commissions workflow

Custom commission requests are handled by email and are governed by the terms confirmed during that process, including but not limited to:

A signed studio contract confirming the specific scope, sizing, and price of the piece.
A 50% non-refundable deposit (or full payment for smaller custom items) required to secure a slot on my studio calendar before sketching begins.
A defined review period for digital sketch approval and composition revisions before painting begins on canvas.

Full details on the custom intake process and current pricing tiers are available on the Commissions page. By submitting an inquiry and confirming your order details in writing, you agree to the terms outlined there.

Finished PBN art disclosures

Items displayed in the "Finished PBN art" category are hand-painted completions of commercial, mass-produced kits sourced from external brands. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original, available for purchase as such — original kit brands are fully credited on screen. Because the underlying design originates from a third-party kit rather than my own original artwork, these specific pieces are strictly unavailable for custom art prints, stickers, or any other form of digital or physical duplication.

Returns & damaged items

All sales are final. Because each piece is handmade, one-of-a-kind, or made to order, I'm unable to accept returns or exchanges. Every order is carefully and securely packaged before it ships out. Standard carrier insurance (up to $100 through USPS or UPS) is included on all shipped orders at no additional cost.

If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging, and I'll handle filing the claim with the shipping carrier using your reported details, as needed.

Limitation of liability

I make every effort to display the colors, sizing details, and material textures of my paintings, cards, and kits as accurately as possible on screen. However, because computer monitors and mobile displays vary, I cannot guarantee that your screen's color profile will perfectly match the physical artwork in person.

This website and its content are provided on an "as-is" basis. Reasonable efforts are made to keep information accurate and up to date, but I am not liable for any technical site interruptions, browser loading errors, or damages resulting from your use of this informational platform.

Governing law & changes

These studio terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. I reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of this website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
